On top of more traditional marketing efforts, we were asked to develop location-specific campaigns to promote the Easy Button.
For Chicago, we decided to use the city’s strong sport fan base. This creative was displayed as backlit signs on the mezzanine level of Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.
The Staples Center was another high-profile place to promote the brand. We made a connection between the Easy Button and the sport and music events held there.
When tasked with promoting the trending products for Back to School season, I created a stop-motion video showcasing the pencil pouch assortment as well as concepting and shooting photography for Pinterest posts of other must-have products.

Audible needed emails to prevent customers from lapsing after having a less than enjoyable listening experience. Phase one was to let the listener know that Audible understands the importance of a good book and that they can easily swap out one they didn’t enjoy at no cost to them. Phase two provided listening recommendations based on their profile and listening habits.
Interstitial banners and email promoting PayPal’s benefit of six months to pay without interest.
Staples used to have only one generic gift card. When they decided to offer more options, my team and I created 75+ fresh designs over eight years. Every concept related back to Staples’ product assortment. Here are some of my favorites.
A coworker and I were asked to be part of the Propelify Innovation Festival to represent Staples Copy & Print Design Services. We were tasked with creating logos for attendees after they filled out a quick creative brief. Staples wanted to illustrate how customers can get their new brand up and running.
The response was overwhelming. We designed 50 logos in 8 hours — averaging a logo every 20 minutes. It was exciting to see people inspired by our designs and ready to get their brand out into the world.
The logos shown are a sampling of what I designed that day.
The signage in Staples stores was busy and overwhelming, resulting in a poor customer experience. I worked closely with all of the stakeholders to create comprehensive signage standards.
